15th Reunion

This outstanding reunion, hosted by Bob & Nan Kan, took
place just 6 months before Hurricane Opal completely destroyed the beautiful
hotel on the beach that was our reunion center. Our Saturday night banquet
was on the top 9th floor overlooking the Gulf to the south and the Bay to the
north. What a beautiful view!
Our guest speaker at the banquet was Roy Schoffner. He had
researched, searched for, found, excavated, and was in the process of completely
restoring a P-38 Lightning from under 268 feet of ice on the Greenland
ice cap! His slide and video presentation was nothing short of
awesome!
Bob had arranged to have a live phone connection to the Squadron
in Korea during the banquet to hear the Juvat Boys Choir serenade us. It
was a first--and very entertaining as shown in the following photos!
