  1. LTM Dr John P. “Doc” Methner (C) with a P-38 Ace from the 35th FS and friend of Kirby’s (L) and Korean era LTM John Shannon. Robbie, Tex–do you remember the 35th Ace’s name?

    • Sadly, I do not. He’s a real nice guy and I spent quite a bit of time talking to him and teasing him about being in the ‘other squadron’. He thought it humorous.
