As you can see, we all had a great time in Fort Worth at our 2017 Headhunter Reunion. Next reunion will be in 2020 at a place TBD. Suggestions are welcome, as is a volunteer to host!

Anyone?
Loco, we’ve only had 2-3 members express interest in our 2020 reunion since I posted in the June Newsletter. I am still working with MRP, the Dayton Hilton, and the USAF Museum with tentative plans. MRP and I will do a full press in November (6 months prior) with official sign-ups, etc. We will require at least 25 members to do this or else it becomes prohibitively expensive. If the reunion doesn’t happen, I plan to ask several of our most “involved” members to show up in Dayton (or possibly elsewhere), for a meeting of the minds regarding the future vector for our Association. With the aging of our original WWII and Korean War members, interest isn’t as keen as it once was. Of over 600 on our membership roster, only 136 are active.

I didn’t receive, or I missed, the email about expressing interest in the reunion. Lynda and I will attend. Perhaps resend invite, if it is not too late. Thank you, Carl “Ivan” Nuzzo
Thanks Carl! You probably haven’t seen the Headhunter Headlines that was published today because our publishing tool (WordPress) didn’t attach the newsletter! I reiterated up front that we need some interest soon or MRP is going to back out. Also, no one in the Dayton area has volunteered to “host,’ so MRP, myself, or both will need to arrive a day or two early to setup.. You’re number 1 on my new list!
Looking for true Juvat Boys’ Choir singers/musicians to perform 4 songs at Headhunters 2020 reunion. Don’t be scared off, but these four songs will be done at a true high level of harmony and fidelity to the “Best of JBC” traditions. More songs of an optional, less practiced and impromptu nature are welcome and expected at the hospitality suite. Will require a some serious practice during the weeks prior via online singing and a few warmup sessions prior to the banquet. Only the best need apply! Contact me at 3604919795 or mallardcove@earthlink.net.
Thanks, Loco (JBC lead from mid-eighties).
