Bill Hagar hosted an outstanding reunion! This was JayBird's first reunion after Kirby "found" him in late 1987.
JayBird also met Yale and Ruth Saffro at this reunion along with all these other Squadron legends. Yale was the one who drew our original Donald Duck patch as well as the Headhunter patch worn today. He was an excellent artist.
It was decided to have the next reunion in Phoenix 18 months later in the Fall of 1989. Dean Price, a Korean era member, was the first non-WWII member to host a reunion.
