Headhunter 80th Anniversary Reunion

We are going ahead with plans to hold an 80th Fighter Squadron Headhunters Reunion celebrating the squadron’s 80th Anniversary. The reunion will be held 6-9 January 2022 at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, AZ near Luke AFB.  Being January in Phoenix, resort room rates can be very high and the Wigwam is no exception.  However, they have agreed to give us the unbelievable rate of $151 per nite (down from $250).  Additionally, your Association is buying the rate down another $20 per night for a total price of $131/night.  All rooms at the Wigwam are individual "Casitas" scattered around the resort. You will never see this deal again!

The plan is to split the events between Luke and the Wigwam, with an F-35 excursion on base and a Friday night Flight Suit Party in one of the base hangars.  The standard "banquet" will be held on Saturday evening, either at the Luke Club or at the Wigwam (TBD).  We have a good chance that Los Gringo's will play at one of our events!  The dress code for the banquet will be "business casual" with coat/tie optional.

The resort has three championship golf courses and we plan to have an informal tournament for those who wish to play.

We will have a full pay-as-you-go bar in a large Hospitality Suite on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights for after-hours festivities. Again, the Association is going to pony up $$$ to buy down the bar price.  This room will be in the Wigwam main building, which will allow guests to wander the premises with drinks in hand.  Be aware that all Casitas are not within crawling distance from the Hospitality Suite.
