CMSGT Harold Ramsey RIP
Mike Adcock recently notified us of the passing of Korean War Era Headhunter Harold Ramsey. He joined the USAF at the age of 17 and was an F-80 crew chief in the 8oth FBS. Harold attended several Headhunter Reunions over the years and was also stationed at both Ramstein and Bitburg Airbases and was a Vietnam War veteran. He received…
1Lt Saul Nova, RIP
One of our last Headhunter P-38 pilots, Saul Nova, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. Saul was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 24, 1924, and was 94 years old. He was preceded in death by his son Melvin in 1974, and his wife Pansy in 2002. His graveside service was held at the Fairmount Cemetery…
